HDX2 and the Spa 24 Hours
It’s been a highlight of the Blancpain Endurance Series for years and in 2015, the 24 hour race at Spa-Francorchamps will be extra special for Race-Keeper as we will have some of our HDX2 systems capturing all the action…
Race-Keeper HDX2 users JRM Group and Triple Eight Racing will both be taking part in the Spa 24 hours in their GT3 spec machinery.
The JRM Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 (Godziller) will be driven by Craig Dolby, Sean Walkinshaw & Martin Plowman and is entered by German racing team Molitor Racing Systems (MRS GT). The car has recently had a brand new livery applied to it to ensure it stands out in low light conditions at Spa.

You can check out some HDX2 video captured onboard this car in JRM Group’s new “How to Drive the Perfect Lap” video series. In each episode, one of the teams drivers takes you around a lap of a track from the Blancpain series in the “Nismo Lab” simulator and then a lap of Race-Keeper HDX2 onboard footage from the same track, highlighting the best way to take each corner and remarking on some of the differences you would encounter between the sim and real life. In this first episode, Craig Dolby takes you around Silverstone GP, providing excellent insight as to how you can achieve the “Perfect Lap”
