Hi, thanks for your interest in Race-Keeper. I wanted to briefly address why we opted to deploy Predictive iDash with off-the-shelf display hardware instead of building our own custom display.
The short answer: because off-the-shelf displays are widely deployed, commercially available, and significantly lower cost than custom hardware, which has a short life span and is useful only for the intended purpose.
