Race-Keeper Video Data Logger vs. Data Acquisition
We like data acquisition, it’s OK. In fact, our development team is managed by former Pi Research engineers.
We just happen to love video AND data.
Race-Keeper is not a data acquisition product with video and audio strapped on or overlaid as an afterthought. We created Race-Keeper from scratch using cutting-edge technologies designed specifically to synchronize audio, video, and data.
Data acquisition was developed for professional racing teams…and data acquisition vendors haven’t adapted their systems for other racing markets. There are still some serious problems with data acquisition: hardware and sensors complicated to install, data difficult to interpret, data difficult to manipulate, expensive systems and of course, no video.
We believe that most racers are better served by having video PLUS data - it's tough to look at a data trace and know exactly how to adjust to perform better but it's a heck of a lot easier to look at a video with data to learn how to improve.
Race-Keeper Video Data Logger vs. DVRs
We've tried a lot of DVRs, and for some low-impact applications that require no data, they're alright. But on-board video systems typically are expensive and fragile systems and capture only one view and offer no data acquisition.
We believe that the combination of video and data is critical for improving racing skills. Race-Keeper is a turn-key system, built exclusively for extreme environments, that captures and synchronizes one to four video views, up to two audio channels, and multiple data sensor inputs…automatically and instantly.
