Durable, high-quality mic that picks up an amazing range of audio, including conversation or radio in the pits and engine noise on the track. System software includes AGC (automatic gain control), which adjusts audio levels automatically.

The mic loom assembly is delivered with a standard Race-Keeper microphone on the left channel and a standard female 3.5mm mono jack input on the right channel for capturing intercom audio or radio chatter to and from the pit crew or race control.

Race-Keeper Comparo plays both left (mic) and right (radio input) audio channels; you can listen to both channel at the same time or use the stereo balance control on your PC to fade out the left or right channel as required.

If you’re recording in an open cockpit (e.g., Single seater racecar or road car with windows down), consider adding a wind cover to reduce irritating high frequency wind interference.
