Predictive iDash till now had used a Wifi link to transfer Race-Keeper HE/SE data to your mobile device running the Predictive iDash app to allow it to display your lap timing information.

Now you can connect your iOS or Android device to the Race-Keeper HE with a specially developed adaptor cable.
If you were having trouble connecting over WiFi then this is the answer.

This cable kit plugs into the USB socket on your existing iDash Race-Keeper cable. The other end of the adapter cable connects to your new Android device with a USB C connector.

Once the ethernet adapter is connected to power from the Race-Keeper HE and to the Android device, “Ethernet” will appear in the Connections, More Connections page in the Settings menu.

Select “Ethernet” in order to access the ethernet configuration details. The Ethernet connection can be configured to use either DHCP or a static IP address. The default is DHCP, change this to Static.
Configure the Ethernet connection settings as follows:

DNS

Default Gateway
192.168.0.1
